You know that cliche bullshit phrase "true love is letting go for the sake of the one who is loved" or something like that, probably poorer iteration, and probably from one of those really deep analytical spiderman movies that we all know are choc full of so much emotional value and depth.

the phrase in fact is partially true.. I hope.
