Fire

You know... I've always associated myself with fire, it matches my personallity and I've always enjoyed its company-- its warm, its hot even, it cooks food and creates heat for all kinds of purposes, it can be put out but it takes a good deal of effort once it gets going...

I've always enjoyed the association with passionate, unstoppable, warm and intense..

but just now, after that last post... I remembered one of the chief weaknesses of fire: it is wholly dependant on its fuel to survive.

The weaknesses of fire is that it burns everything around it, it can be pleasantly warm or scathing just at the sight.. it consumes its fuel and then dies. no other element or natural occurance is so destructive and harmful.

In comparison, I *have* offended alot of people... I have used, decieved, burned and consumed people... ending a few relationships altogether..

I came,
I burned,
I died.

I hope that isnt my life story isnt anything like the way my life has gone sofar..

Otherwise I'm just a flame. May burn bright but at what cost to myself? and those few loved ones burned along with me?

Interesting thought.
