What else... I got my band uniform yesterday, its really slick; black slacks, black buttondown poly/cotton blend, white tie and misc. accessories. But um.. I heard the rest of the day that I'd have to return my tie, because the valid colors, as stated in announcement email, are red, blue, green and silver..

Naturally, I was disappointed, I mean... I bought the coolest white tie, that I spent about a half an hour looking for... so.. I complained alot... but it didnt change anything. even though when we "voted" I was the one who suggested button-down shirts, and solid ties, and even choosing the tie color... but noooooooo.... he *MaGiCaLlY FoRgOt* that I asked for black-through-white to be included.. which is the only reason silver was even in there.. silver ties are generally ugly.. pewter/grey ties are probably what everyone is going to end up getting as "silver" anyways..

And the best part is.. even if I cant wear my white tie(under pain of not being able to play :rolls eyes: boo hoo..) I could still choose to wear, pea green, magenta, bright silver or pastel blue, chartrouse even, and it'd still qualify as "green"... but white NOOOOooooo... of COURSE NOT...

grr... white looks so fuckin' classy too..

anyways.. so I'm probably going to get my signature "fresh-blood-fuck-you-red" in the best hue possible to fit that phrase...

Oh well... life could be worse right?
