Heads up

This is a quicky list of things you can do to make your blogging cleaner, crisper, and hopefully, a more enjoyable experience for your readers.

First off, people dont mind hearing about your day, but its usually best to decieve them into enjoying it by putting a humourous slant on things.. generally, if you dont make fun of your day, people will laugh at your boring posts, which is quite a similar thrill.. however, you want to be the one doing the joking, so that you're in control of who comes back to read your blog again.

Second, when you're posting- even I do this -try not to run your thoughts together, otherwise people will tend to get lost, and they wont get what you were trying to get acrossed as easily... remember people, EVERYONE IS STUPID, so at some point they'll lose interest in reading your page at the sheer size of a paragraph.

Third, While exact spelling may not make so much of a difference, going back over a rant and organizing all of the sentences and cleaning the grammar can make a world of difference... if even one word is off you can leave someone confused with what you're trying to say.. it all goes back to rule #1, people are stupid.

Fourth, Aside from spoon-feeding humourous grammarically and punctuatively correct statements for your readers to eat up like puppies eating bolognia, you'll want to include plenty of content.. people like things they can interact with; link to other sites, message boards for feedback, images and galleries of what you're talking about in a post and even sound-bytes will enhance your reader's experience, and thus, they come back and read more.

Thats all I can muster.. other than that, post regularly.. it doesnt matter how hollow or boring a post is, just stay regular and people will know that you're going to post again, thus, they check for new posts weekly, or even daily, waiting for you to post again.
