Here's a daydream I had.

Immersion.

You wake up, all is dark but you know you are concious... are you blind? its hard to tell. Your body feels as light as a feather.

You are laying on a ground-level bed above the covers. you stand up but are still blind; your eyes are tightly shut.

You hear music, at first far off but then creeping closer. Its a quiet melody even when close, and soon the source of the music is so close that you can feel the vibrations from the volume of it.

The tempo slows to a somber melody. And then even slower, almost to a ghastly march... and then so slow that it becomes a single beat; a drumming.

The song however comforting before in your blindness has now become an uncomfortable and oddly-paced thumping.

But then your eyes loosen, and you can see some hazy light peeking through your eyelids.

The drums drum on, even though you dont know where they are.

You find yourself in a small wooden building, in the center of a very large garden.

The light is very intense to your eyes, even though your eyes are adjusted from being previously sealed.

You think "This place may be heaven", you feel so peaceful.

You feel your hearbeat; and then it comes to you, the beating is coming from your heart.

Even before the music was only what you made it, at first a mellow sonate, then plunging into a grave march.

You wonder about this place; where is it? who lives here? how did you get here? many thoughts race through your head.

Soon the bright morning turns into a dark night. With the sun your eyes fade as well, And then you plunge into darkness again.

You wake up in your home.. because you where just daydreaming again.
