Curtain raises

Average joe standing on stage

Sean, enter stage right

Sean: Hi. (hands cashier CD player.)

Cashier: Hello. (Takes CD player, and proceeds to check-out cd player.)

-- A few minutes go by. Sean's staring at the trainee cashier, as he tries to check-out the aforementioned item--

Cashier:(Fumbles with checkout machine... then finally hands sean a bag with the CD player in it) thank you! please come again.

Sean: Uhh... where's the recipt? (by now sean is frustrated with such a simple purchase, gone horribly wrong.)

Cashier #2: Uhh. let me in there [Insert mediocre name here]... (Cashier #2, then fumbles with the checkout...)

--- about ten minutes go by... --

Cashier #2: (prints out bogus recipt...) Here you go sir..

Sean: (Looks at recipt..) Hmm. I wasnt born yesterday... this recipt is bogus. [with a capitole B]

Cashier #1: Whaat? (Looks at Cashier #2)

Cashier #2: (Looks very embarassed)

Sean: Alright, forget it you monkies! (Walks away with CD player and his change...)

Cashier #1: Have a nice day![Frustrated tone..]

Sean, Exit stage left.



There are two morals of this story:

One: NEVER get in a land war in Asia

And Two: NEVER get into a battle of wits with a Scicilian when DEATH is on the line.
